January 2020

I have just completed two Reduction Linoprints of castles, Scarborough Castle and Dunstanburgh Castle, both inspired by recent visits. I think this may be the beginnings of a mini project on castles as they are fascinating usually in wonderful locations!

I have been working on a range of screenprint landscapes recently, several of the Wittenham Clumps. I am enjoying using a more subtle palette at the moment, making more use of extender, which makes a change from the stronger colours I have previously used.

More screenprints
I am currently working on a range of beach screen prints, and am really enjoying the effects created using screen block and paintbrush! Looking forward to showing some of my latest work at Art on The Hill at Brill over the weekend of April 16th and 17th. See Art on The Hill website for more details.
